Ran Stovall, born in Pharr, TX and raised in Brownsville, TX he began Christian Family Counseling Service in the Valley of Texas with his wife, Elizabeth, simply because there was no Christian counseling available . The need for it was great and the response to this service was overwhelming! As a deacon in the church and the Chairman of Here’s Life, Valley, Inc. with Campus Crusades lay ministry, Ran knew it required training and a close, daily walk with Jesus. He greatly values training people to think properly because our thoughts lead us to feelings. A good gauge is to test our feelings and ask ourselves “what are we thinking?”
Sandra was born in Coronado, CA. She grew up in Brownsville and became a serious Christ follower in her early twenties. Counseling others first entered her heart during her teenage years and since then she encountered many who suffered tremendous hardships and unbelievable pain. “My heart was broken for them” but I learned that it would take many years of personal brokenness before the Lord called me to counseling. After many years of work and various ministry related jobs, she decided to get biblical counseling training and work along side her father in Christian Counseling Family Service. She does one on one counseling with women who are in a crisis. Other duties include office administration.
