Christian Family Counseling Service is a free Bible-based, Christ-centered, non-denominational counseling ministry. We are not licensed professionals with certifications from the State. We have degrees in counseling.
We are a father/daughter team. Ran Stovall has a Master’s of Education in Counseling and Sandra Stovall has a Master’s in Biblical Counseling. What this means is that we are prepared and have studied how to use the Bible to guide you in your specific issue.
We offer a clinical type setting or structure. In other words, we ask for history, understand the presenting problem, set goals for the sessions we have with you, and offer additional resources for your learning and growth.
Our type of counseling is rational/emotive with the “rational” aspect based on the New Testament part of the Bible. The level of treatment can be described as “crisis counseling.” We use the clinical approach meaning individual or family, face-to-face, in-office counseling. Our aim is to lower the frustration/fear level, and to raise the peace level.
Sandra makes appointments with women and girls, ages 8 and up, Monday through Friday, starting at 9 a.m. and making a final appointment of the day at 4 p.m. She has her MA degree in Biblical Counseling. She also has personal experience in Christian ministry with female children and adults with hearing loss.
Ran makes appointments with couples, whole families, men and boys, ages 5 and up, Tuesday through Friday, one appointment per day, starting at 3:30 and ending at 5 p.m.
Saturday appointments are sometimes available.
